I started watching TNG with my Dad, when it started on BBC 2, and we watched every episode. We went together to the Star Trek exhibition when it came to Manchester and regularly had whole conversations made up only of Worf quotes.

 

When my favourite actor Zachary Quinto was cast as Spock I was excited to say the least and now I'm a little bit obsessed with the film, this has led to me re-watching TOS and getting an unhealthy fascination with Pon Farr. I reckon, canonically, Spock might be due in about two earth years, so I hope the next film explores this throroughly.

What’s your favourite show?

 

TNG, I love Picard because he's intelligent, Riker because he's a chick magnet, and Worf because he's just badass. I was even in that small part of the Venn diagram who liked Wesley Crusher, because I had a bit of a thing for him. However, he did start to annoy me pretty quickly.  

If you can name one, what is your favourite episode from your favourite show, and why?

 

I have loads but the first one that springs to mind is 'The Perfect Mate' (Series 5 Episode 21) just because I find it hilarious how Riker and Picard act differently towards the pheromone charged metamorph. Picard's wrniging his hands and questioning his ethics and Riker is in there like a rat up a drainpipe. He has the stellar line "If anyone needs me I'll be on holodeck four." 

If you could play any character in the franchise, who would it be?

 

I would play a female Mirror Universe Chekov, or failing that, Janice Rand but with less extreme hair.

What’s your favourite ship?

 

Chekov/McCoy. Oh you mean like Starship? I like the Romulan Bird of Prey
